330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brown colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of instant coffee, some cocoa, a nuttily touch. Taste is slightly dry, roasty dark malty, hints of coffee, a touch of cocoa, grassy hoppy overtones with a minimally waxy touch; minimally watery passages, soft palate, slightly overcarbonated. Needs slight readjustment to become a really good Schwarzbier.

0.33 l bottle from 'Biermuda', best before February 2018. Hazy, dark red to dark brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, some nuts and a touch of raisins. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of caramel, nuts, some chocolate and hints of raisins, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay.

Fläschchen (0,0033hl): Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, big, creamy and stable off-white head; toasted malt with a tinge of caramel, some fruits and herbal hops in the nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite smooth, quite light bodied; ashy traces in the drier and more bitter finish. Well balanced and tasty Schwarzbier...

0,33 l bottle from trinkgut Osnabrück. Black in the glass, reddish edges, nearly two finger frothy beige head. Roasted malt and some coffee on the nose. Taste starts with a lot of choco, low sweetness in the background. Increasing coffee in the middle part. Some dry elements, toasted malty. Smooth. Really enjoyable stuff.
