Bottled (Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Copper colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head which leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted, mild fruity notes with some slight herbal note. Flavour is fruity, floral mild toffee and toastd notes. Slightly boring.

On tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. A dark brown beer, seems to be quite clear, with a dense finger-thick beige head. The aroma has lightly roasted, even burnt malts, with lots of hops, reminiscent of opening a bag of hops, citrus, pine cones. It’s full-bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee and quite a lot of piney, resiny and grapefruity hops. A bit heavy on the roasted malts in the finish. A quite nice one, blending darkness and citrusy hops in a fine way. 171021

Black with dark off white head - Some malts with a nice hop aroma that has herbal notes - Malt body with some chocolate notes to support a good hop flavour that is herbal and piney with a good bitterness - The hops goes into the finish with herbal bittterness that goes fruity dry - This was good

From tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø, 20.10.17. Almost ebony. Dense, foamy and persistent beige head and lacing. Fine aroma of American hops, citrus and lychee. Similar taste, with some roasted barley, dark chocolate, vanilla and pine shoots. Very quaffable.
