Draught@Lakeuden Panimojuhlat 2018, Seinäjoki. Black colour, mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is toasted, nutty and some liquorice and mild alcohol to it. Flavour is liquorice, some toasted, roasted and chocolaty tones with a nice nutty edge to it.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20180331) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, lactic sweetness and ash. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, ash, lactic sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A pleasant burnt brew.

Bottled 330ml
Opaque colour, small steady brownish head and some lace. Toasted, coffeish aroma. Medium-bodied. Nice roasted, coffeish flavour with oat making palate soft. Good balanced hoppyness in the finish. Well-brewed stout. One of the best ones from Sonnisaari.

Draught @ Malja. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, cocoa, hops, hints of licorice and ash. Taste is hoppy, roasty and slightly ashy with some chocolate and coffee. Finish is roasty, hoppy and slightly grassy with some licorice, coffee and chocolate. Pretty good.

Tap at Jumpru, Oulu. Colour is dark brown with small creamy brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla, coffee, hops and roasted malts. Very creamy and soft. Excellent.

Tap@ lakeuden panimojuhlat, Seinäjoki. Pours black with a lasting brown head. Oatmeal, cocoa, milk chocolate aroma. Nice. Cocoa, chocolate, roasted malt, oat smoothness. Balanced and tasty. Good one.
