Bangatan IPA is a true expression of O/O Brewing's favourite combination of hops; Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin. Everything in this recipe is made to let these hops shine as much as possible. A simple grist profile of Pilsner malt and Wheat malt gives a crisp and clean backdrop and the 7% gives just enough body to sustain the hops.

Previously at 7.5% ABV.

Can, many thanks omhper! Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is honeycomb, melon, peach, a touch raspberries even. Taste is melony, peach, sweet, but not cloying, smooth mouthfeel. Super cloudy mouthfeel, there's no better word. Very interesting character, unusual!

Can at home, shared with my girlfriend. Very similar to the narangi, without a side to side comparison difficult to ascertain how it is different. Pours hazy yellow with decent head. Aroma is very hoppy and fruity, smooth with lots of stone fruit and citrus fruit, especially grapefruit and peach. Medium body. Flavour is sweet and malty, super smooth and creamy, oaty. Lovely malt base, low bitterness. Lovely fruity and hoppy herbal and earthy flavours. Citrus and mosaic shine. Grapefruit, peach, se tropical fruit. Great beer, more towards a NEIPA. Finishes bittersweet, quite long.
