Bangatan IPA is a true expression of O/O Brewing's favourite combination of hops; Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin. Everything in this recipe is made to let these hops shine as much as possible. A simple grist profile of Pilsner malt and Wheat malt gives a crisp and clean backdrop and the 7% gives just enough body to sustain the hops.

Tap. Pours golden. Aroma and flavor are sweet, hoppy, fruity, sugary, citrus, malt, grapefruit. Finish is also grapefruit. Overall: good.

On tap at Valhalla Zagreb. Hazy yellow/orange coloured, medium sized white head, fruity and citrusy nose. Sweetish malty, light citrusy, some caramel and yeast with light alcohol in the finish. Not in best condition I suppose.

Hazy to cloudy, orange colored, medium white frothy head. Moderate fruity and citrusy hops, some fruity yeasty notes and yeast feel, medium bitterness and moderate sweet malt, light caramel, orange, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Halmtorvet 29 c, Copenhagen, Denmark 1700.[ As O/O Bangatan ].Hazy matt medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruityhops, light to moderate yeast, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, fruity hops, orange, fruity yeast, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (Keg at William K Kurvi, 20190602) The beer poured pale orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, white bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was musty and bitter. A brew with pleasant aroma and decent taste. The taste was blocked by the mustiness.
