Can. Sugary-sweet, lightly warming and boozy, but feels rather thin on the palate. Cocoa, dark chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla and a touch of dark dried fruit. Flawless, just not my kind of bock bier at all. 646311 260127

330ml can, many thanks to Frida and Esben. Pretty decent, nicely roasted, but a tad too sweet. Lactose backbone. ( Tromsø, 10.01.2026).

Dark brown colour, small beige head. Sweet vanilla, lactose aroma. Light-bodied. Cocoa, vanilla, lactose, some alcohol in the flavour. Meh.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is vanilla, marshmallow, cocoa, caramel, toffee, fudge, dark malt, candy, lightly roast. Flavour is liquid candy store sweetness with a light bitterness. Body is medium with a little creamy lactose, drinks way below the abv. More body would have helped make the sweetness more palatable. I'm sure this is popular with the hip crowd, but it's a bit much for me.

Pastry style, the base is great, i think the rocky roadiness diminishes the beer. Craft draft ams

Bottle 33cl. from a local AH supermarket @home poured into a shaker. Opaque dark brown colour, small stable creamy tan colour, good lacing. Aroma roasted malts, cocoa powder, vanilla, marshmallows. Taste light heavy sweet, almost no bitterness, malty, some roast, chocolate, vanilla, marshmallows, candy sugar, nuttty notes. Full-bodied, ceamy texture, soft carbonation, very sweet aftertaste, bit roast, alcohol notes, overall very sweet, lacks finesse, nice.

17 February 2022. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Cheers to the Teamleader crew, and to my bro Lander for our shared appreciation!
Hazy dark brown to black, stable, foamy, beige head. Strong aroma of melting marshmallow, burnt caramel, sugared peanut, pecan, vanilla cream, mocha, chocolate sauce, candied plum. Taste has sweet candied plum & fig in a thick malt profile of milk chocolate, pecan and sugary marshmallow with a dash of vanilla, generally low in bitterness. Soft herbal hoppy finish, still nutty, chocolatey & creamy with warming liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Strong and tasty but a bit too sweet Doppelbock-wise.
