Der Schmelzer ist in einer Glashütte u.a. für die richtige Zusammensetzung und das Einbringen des Gemenges aus Scherben, Pottasche, Quarzsand, Kalk und Soda in den Hafen des Glasofens verantwortlich, wo es zum
verarbeitungsfähigen Glas erschmolzen wird. Die Umgebungstemperatur vor dem Ofen beträgt um die 50° C. Unser Schmelzer Bier hat weniger Alkohol
als unser Helles und ist somit der ideale Durstlöscher für die schweißtreibende
Arbeit des Schmelzers. Gleichzeitig ist es das ideale Getränk für alle,
die gerne ein leichteres Bier genießen wollen, ohne auf den typischen Biergeschmack zu verzichten. “Hoibe” ist der gängige Ausdruck in Bayern
für 0,5 l Bier.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, grain, fruity, sweet malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120129]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops. A bot boring for Z/K/L.

Bottle @ Too Many Radlers - only one sink, Ulfborg. Pours clear yellow with w white foam. A bit of grain and hay. Quite raw and harsh. Watery . Short end.

Bottle: Pale golden, a bit unclear, small off-white layer; sweetish-grainy nose, delicate sweetish flavour and light bodied, a bit fizzy; very, very faint traces of hops in the sweet-grainy finish, followed by a little fizzy afterburn. Monotonous.....

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly yeasty pale malty aroma with shy grainy spots and slightly grassy and herbal hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Slim pale malty and minimally grainy taste; moderately dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish with slightly grassy and metallic hops. Unexciting. 12.VIII.10
