Der Schmelzer ist in einer Glashütte u.a. für die richtige Zusammensetzung und das Einbringen des Gemenges aus Scherben, Pottasche, Quarzsand, Kalk und Soda in den Hafen des Glasofens verantwortlich, wo es zum
verarbeitungsfähigen Glas erschmolzen wird. Die Umgebungstemperatur vor dem Ofen beträgt um die 50° C. Unser Schmelzer Bier hat weniger Alkohol
als unser Helles und ist somit der ideale Durstlöscher für die schweißtreibende
Arbeit des Schmelzers. Gleichzeitig ist es das ideale Getränk für alle,
die gerne ein leichteres Bier genießen wollen, ohne auf den typischen Biergeschmack zu verzichten. “Hoibe” ist der gängige Ausdruck in Bayern
für 0,5 l Bier.

14.04.2018 -- 0.5l bottle from bavarian beer set in marktkauf, 6.49€/6pack, bb 14.08.2018. pours a clear pale golden with a frothy head. mild aroma of sunflower seeds and some vegetables. hay and apple skins on the mouth, unfortunately with a sourish off flavour in the finish. drinkable but not great.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - hazy orange with a decent head. Nose - orange and bread. Taste - toast and light orange. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - this is good for the style.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb and Stuu666. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of straw, grass, light malt. Taste is thin, but watery.

Heller, leicht würziger Beginn. Dabei weder besonders herb noch hopfig, geringfügig malzig, etwas getreidig. Dieses eher langweilige Aroma setzt sich im Mittelteil fort, leicht süß. Trinkbar. 9/6/10/7/7/7

Bottle. Golden, big bubbles, low white head. Rich spicy malt base initially, which unfortunately feels a bit too light and fizzy on the palate, dialing the carbonation down a bit would help. Good grassy hop notes, honeyish and herbal finish. Good thirst quencher.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig herb, grasig. Geschmack herb, malzig, grasig.

500ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, white head. Cuatious grainy aroma, some husk. Taste is minimally grainy, pale malty, a spicy touch of husk; light body.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, fluffy white head. Malty base, light-bodied, with some nice hops. Not as light as expected, quite aromatic and good, especially with this low abv.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass very zippy, but small head. Starts mild but not washy, quite dry from the beginning. More and more metallically and unbalanced. So not really drinkable. Not good.
