Deze Terschellinger Schoemrakker is door ons met trots gebrouwen van uitsluitend de beste ingrediënten. Deze India Pale Ale, het extra gehopte bier voor vroegere lange zeereizen, kenmerkt zich door veel hoparoma in geur en smaak, maar is met een EBU (bitterheidsindex) van 45 toch heel toegankelijk. Gebrouwen op de geboortegrond van Willem Barentsz, die ervan genoten zou hebben!

Bottle, thanks ShivanDragon! Pale amber color. Floral, citric aroma. Thin, dry, citrus, slightly herbal. Soft vinous notes.

33 cl. bottle @ de Zilte Rus, bought @ Spar Cupido, Lies. Clear amber with a white head. Malty caramel and fruity aroma. Sweet taste and sweet finish. Too sweet, too malty and not hoppy enough to be a really tasty IPA.

Bottle. Color: Hazy amber, thin off-white head. Taste: Medium sweet malt, mix of floral and herbal hops, citrus hints and candy-like notes. Aroma and notes of rye. Long lasting bit unpleasant candy-like, malty finish with light bitterness. Medium to below medium body, below average carbonation. Bit sticky. Not refreshing. Lacking hop-bitterness. Definitely not my kind of IPA.
