Keg draught at BrewDog. Light gold, slightly hazy with a film of white head and a little bit of lacing. Buttery, lemony, toasty aroma. Tastes a little bit sickly sweet from the malt at first before the astringent bitterness kicks in. Long messy finish. Doesn't taste 6.1% but repeated sips prove that it does indeed pack a punch. Not for me really.

33cl can. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, some grains and noble hops. Taste of mild citrusy hops, grass, pale malt. Mild bitterness. Easy drinking Helles.

Helles Gold im Glas, in der Nase recht unscheinbar. Im Trunk leichte Frucht, Rosinen, leicht alkoholisch. Passt schon, guter Durchschnitt.

Keg at BD Oxford, 20/04/22. Clear golden pour with a decent white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, grains, cereals, lemon rind. Taste comprises pale malts, grass, herb, grains, cereals, hedgerow, faint citric drizzle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent clean drinking Logger Bier.

From tap. Pours clear snd golden yellow, white head. Aroma is grassy, straw and mild grainy. Toasted malt. Grassy. Bitter, toasted and light straw to grass. Bitter and dry finish.

Keg at the Doghouse Edinburgh. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of curb and malt. Nice strong lager feel to it. Taste has some heft. Grassy bitter, but ultimately a little sweet.
