Fusion is a series of fresh and sour beers with added fruit. With Fusion, we want to challenge the notion of what good beer can be. Fusion is a good alternative to bubbles and cider. Works great as an aperitif. Serve chilled in a wine glass with ice cubes and fruit or berries as a garnish. The series includes the taste profiles: Blueberry, Passion Fruit and Rhubarb.

330 ml clear bottle, as Nøisom Fusion Fruktøl med Blåbær, Stjerneanis og Kanel. ABV is 4.7%. Purchased at Helgø Meny Bogafjell. Murky red to purple colour, moderate to small pink head. Aroma of blueberries, lactic acid, vanilla, star anise and cinnamon. Sour flavour, also quite sweet, loads of lactic acid and blueberries, hints of star anise and cinnamon.

YG 090821. Purple color with no head. Aroma is blueberries, fruit. Flavorn is blueberries, fruit, grass, spices, star anise.Ordinary beer.

Bottle. It's an unclear dark candy red beer with a few off-white bubbles on top. The aroma has lots of perfumed blueberry, with a touch of sour fruits. It's medium bodied, softly carbonated and sourness. Blueberry, grass, perfumed flower hints and some generic sour fruityness in the flavor. A spiced hint too. Long finish with a blueberry flavor that feels a bit artificial. Quite refreshing this one, but not my kind of drink. 210809

Dyp rød farge med rosa skum som raskt forsvinner. Lukter blåbær og smaker blåbær. Ganske så fizzy og syrlig i munnfølelse. Føles litt som bruspulver. Frisk og god sommerdrikke. Gjør seg helt sikkert med isbiter som det står anbefalt på flaska.

It is not often you get spot on with the blueberries This one was so blueberry dominated that it could easy been mistaken for a blueberry soda with alcohol. Not really any acidity. Very smooth and fine sweetness But neither aroma or flavor felt artificial. Really tasty and refreshing [Bottle from Meny Tista Senter in Halden, Norway]
