500ml bottle. Clear, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally musty, grainy, wet strawy, malty aroma, a touch of silage, spelt, horse dung and honey. Taste is plain bitter hoppy, minimally sweet malty basis, with a grainy touch of honeyed cereals.

Two 500ml Flip-top bottles: BBD 1st Jan 2018, drank at home on 21st Apr 2017. Sold in UK Aldi stores as ’Schwaben Brau’ ’Das Fruhlings Festbier’. Golden amber pour, white head. Malt forward brew in both the nose and taste, decent hop content also, but the hops can’t match the semi-sweetness the malty molasses provide. My sweet tooth liked this beer.

0,5 l swing top bottle. Clear dark golden with a big white foamy steady head. Looking really good. Very grassy on the nose, malt in the background. Taste starts with more caramell, increasing malty in the second row. Hints of chestnut. Smooth palate. Spicy. Okay.
