Full hoppy aroma at first touch. Hazy light yellow color, long small head. Medium sweet and bitterness, lower sweetness would be better. Light body, well hidden alcohol.

Not as tough as I might have thought. Lots of booze though. Not a huge amount of distinguishing features but still somehow nice.

I heard mixed reviews on this pricey brew... on tap some said Best Haze in Japan. Bottle some said vegetal hoppy muddle... Ise Kadoya Neko Sanbiki NE Triple IPA 10% Even in the bottle you can see that the beer is crazy dense, it looks like juice. In a glass it is an orange honey gold with a wispy dense head. The aroma is rich juicy citrus and tropical fruits. The body is quite full and heavy with rich overripe fruits and honey notes. This is a really good example of big bold haze with interesting honey grapefruit rind notes in the aftertaste. That high ABV is totally hidden, not sure if it’s the best but it’s an easy Top Ten.

Tap at Komachi. Creamy pale pastel gold, glowing, with a thick head. Nose is pineapple, coconut, orange, grapefruit. huge hops. Creamy, juicy flavor, coconut, tropical fruit, pineapple. Very smooth and full, medium carbonation. you definitely sense some booze in this, but it balances the sweetness well and is actually quite drinkable. I had two pints without feeling strained. One of the best hazes in Japan now.
