through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault;"

Bottled. Murky brown colour with a small white head. ARoma is oak, some nutty notes, dried fruits, figs, some alcool and mild wooden tones. Flavour is fruity, some resin, mild figs, plum and raisins along with some toffee and mild spiciness. Surprisingly balanced and not ll too boozy.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Dried fruit, appelmoes, vanilla and a hint of oak in the aroma. Sweet, but with a dryish oaky alcoholic fnish. Dried fruit, boozy. Nice.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 1 - BB 15.11.2022, from Õllepood No 2 Gambrinus, Pärnu, 20181027) The beer poured pale mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had dried plums, vanilla, caramel, candy sugar and malts. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were caramel, lightly banana, vanilla, wood, raisins, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, malty, boozy and bitter. A bit messy and unbalanced brew but not actually bad.

Bottled 330ml (from UJH?)
¨ Dark amber colour, small beige head. Wood, alcohol, vanilla and some toffee in the nose. Medium-bodied. Lots of barrel here, you really can't say it is quad. Lots of wood, toffee and vanilla, some alcohol and berries. Overall ok BA.

Tap. Pours red amber with beige head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, malty, apples, some booze, oak. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruit, apples, malt, vanilla, bourbon. Finish is sweet and malty with some hoppiness. Body is bit thin. Overall: very good, would love to try the base beer or at least blend with more base, bit too much barrel for me. Rant: I would say that apples from non calvados barrel mean that barrel is off, but it somehow surprisingly it works in this beer. Bourbon, cognac, scotch, etc. barrels shouldn't never give apples in aroma and flavor. I'm pretty sure if proper clean bourbon barrels would be used, this beer would taste totally different... (but like I said, this one works for some reason, so I'm not sure that clean barrels would be better).
