0.5l bottle thanks to Lore. Clear copper body with a white head. Aroma and taste of apples, bread, hay, nuts and some floral hops. Nice one.

Das Märzen der Brauerei Stierberg, leider auch nur aus der Flasche in der Brauereigaststätte. - Kupfergold, klar. - In der Nase reiches helles Malz, sauber gerstig mit feiner Honignote und feiner herbaler Hopfung. - Antrunk sauber gerstig hellmalzig, ein klein wenig dicker als ein Helles, fein malzsüß mit blasser Honignote und nur dezenter herbal-hopfenwürziger und leise orangenbitterer Herbe. Stärker rezent und weniger vollmundig als sortentypisch. Im Abgang leicht trocken und blaß hopfenherb. - Für ein Märzen zu leicht im Körper aber nicht ohne märzentypische Malzsüße, rassig und mild aber gediegen gehopft: ein sauberes Export. (5.5.2024.)

clear darg golden to bright amber colour, one inch of creamy slightly ecru-ish white head, which lasts forever; aroma of roasted nutty, rye bready, some grassy and caramel notes; taste is similar to the aroma with some spicy notes in the aftertaste; really good one!

Bottled at TEJA tasting. Clear pale amber. Fruity, bready nose Mid dry with medium body and well rounded, firm mouthfeel. Bready, grass, some fruit. Low bitterness. Very harmonious.

Buddel(thanx to Metro Brunnthal!): Deep golden, clear, quite stable mid-sized loose off-white head; moderate sweetish-toasty nose, dark malt and a small amount of bitterness detectable; moderate sweet and slightly bitter flavour, surely medium bodied, surely soft; sweetish pale-malty to toasty finish. A bit on the sweet side, but still well drinkable…

(bottle) Clear, golden to light-amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Delicately biscuity malty aroma with subtle fruity notes and hints of caramel. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Solid malty base with notes of caramel, fruity accents and a restrained hops character; sweet malty, again mildly fruity and shy hop bitter finish. Likeable but a tad too sweet for my liking. 18.XI.15

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig. Geschmack würzig malzig, leicht fruchtig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Würziger, leicht säuerlicher Malzantrunk. Geringe Getreidigkeit, karamellig, etwas nussig. Spritzig, auf Dauer etwas langweilig. Leicht bitterer und würziger Abgang. 12/10/9/9/9/9
