If you squint your eyes and try really hard, you might be able to see through the haze and find out that there's a whole 'nother coast out there (look to the left). That's why we decided to try something new and brew this Double Dry Hopped West Coast Imperial India Pale Lager. It is clear, it is clean, it is crispy and it is very hoppy (Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Motueka). If this becomes a thing, remember where you got your first DDHWCIIPL!

Draught@Ihme, Helsinki. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some wooden tones. Flavour is floral, toffee, fruity and mild wooden notes.

Can. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Caramel, tropical fruit, hop. Taste: Hoppy, sweetish tropical / citrus fruit notes (overripe pineapple and orange), 'sweetish caramel. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate to over moderate sweet, light bitterness. Long lasting finish. Slick, oily and lightly sticky. Nice try but not exactly my kind of IPL style.

Tap @ Ihme, Helsinki. Poured unclear golden in color. Aroma of malts, ripe fruits. Pretty balanced. Not very exciting though.

0,44 l blikje from Slijterij D´r Bij, Veendam. Cloudy pale golden with a small white short living head in the glass. Intensive tropical smell on the nose. Grape and some resin. Taste is also tropicial but with some floral elements too. Citrus sweetness and resin. Slick. Very low carbonated.
