draft - For this year’s brown ale, the bartender confirmed that it’s the Big Daddy Brown, and it certainly tastes different than last year’s "brown ale" that everyone insisted was a different beer. The difference is that this one is good. It’s not so thin/watery. It’s medium bodied with a very good caramel malt and nut flavor. It pours dark brown with a thin head that leaves a bit of lace and all those malts give it a pleasant caramel aroma. It’s a good example of the style and a good session beer.
