British and German malt base. Malty, toasty, and dark caramel dominate the flavor. Willamette hops give a low amount of grassy, citrus tones

Half pour draft in a snifter at South Bend Brew Werks in South Bend, Indiana. The pour is a slightly hazed amber brown and copper with a small off white head that is lasting. The aroma is soft caramel malt along with a nice soft herbal. The taste is sweet malt, soft caramel, with a bit of cherry fruit, that finishes clean with nice toasted chewy malt. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and that clean finish. Nicely done red.

Draft. Bland caramel malt aroma - not much there. Hazy deep amber with a moderate off-white head. Slight sweet caramel malt flavor with a subtle grassy-herbal finish. Body on the light side of medium, average carbonation.
