Bottle. Looks like apple juice. Taste is like a cross of apple juice and cheap white wine. Aroma is weak apple juice.

Dinky little can from a Kroger. Pours a clear pale amber color with a fizzy head that instantly fades. Aroma of tart artificial apples. The taste is the same. Thin-medium bodied, artificial. As expected. 8400th rating. Oops.

Bottle from a Kroger. Pours a clear amber color with a fizzy white head that fades quickly. Aroma of sweet, grainy apples and a faint sweaty sock thing. The taste is sweet and tart apples, not quite artificial but very candy-like. Thin bodied. Not a good cider, even by the macro cider standards.

Well, it seems to be that time of the year to try this kind of stuff.
Into a pint glass, the appearance has a clear golden orange to amber color with a fast rising carbonation seen throughout. There isn’t any head and there isn’t any lacing.
The smell had alcohol and apple, more so like green apple.
The taste was slightly tart from the green apple that lead to a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly sharp carbonation that lead to a drying effect.
Overall, well, it’s a cider, what else were you looking for?

8 oz baby can. Aroma is cidery, perfumy. Pours clear pale golden with a vanishing white crackly head. Taste is mostly sweet, a little tart. Tastes like a cider, not really tasting beer. No complexity at all, but it tastes good.

16 oz can bought from the discount cooler in a local convenience store. Never thought I’d be rating a Mike’s product on here! Pours clear golden with a collapsing white head; leaves a ring of foam. Aroma is basic apple cider with no offnotes or surprises. Taste is sweet, quite tart and even a little savory. Carbonation is average, slick mouthfeel. It’s not all that bad, really.

11.2oz bottle picked up at the state store
Pours clear golden with a small white ring, no lacing. Mild aroma of ripe apples. Tastes like apple sauce and cinnamon
Not bad but it tasted like old apples, not crisp fresh ones.

Bottle, and don’t ask me why. Always great to see a laundry list of ingredients on the side of a label that are not apples and yeast. Pours with a perfectly clear deep golden yellow (food coloring?) hued body with a few large bubbles. Aromas are of jolly ranchers, candied apple, tons of sugar and artificial acid. Cloyingly sweet. Lightly spicy character. Flavors are equally sweet, artificial tangy acidity but yet not enough to even come close to balancing the sweetness. Next to no tannic structure. Medium full bodied, lively carbonation. I might be a bit harsh, as this is not nearly the worst cider I have, but this is still pretty much the definition of an alcopop, and it really bothers me that most of the "ciders" one finds on shelves are like this. Cloyingly sweet and mind numbingly dumbed down.

Bottle. Sweet commercial apple juice aroma. Clear gold, no head per usual for cider. Sweet tart commercial apple juice flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Not bad for a macro, but not really all that dry, as the label claims.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with an amber hue. Aroma of fresh red and green apples. Taste is light sweet and medium sour. Mostly granny smith with a dose of fuji. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. A little syrupy but enjoyable.

From a bottle. Commencement is quite good, friendly and easy. Apply fer sure, kind of sweet compared to mikes other dry cider. Yes, not dry at all. Sweet, will appeal to those who do no like beer. Goes down way to easy, hides alky content well. Fun stuff. Typical American sweet hard cider. Finish has no ill effects at all.
