Draft @ brewery. Buttery caramel malt, rye, and orange aroma. Hazy copper with a small off-white head. Spicy rye, black pepper, caramel malt, and orange flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very nice rye beer, and a big thanks to my bartender (a friend of my son) who gave me a sneak peek and shared his beer with me before it was officially tapped.

tap at the brewpub - Pours copper with a medium sized, enduring head that left me some nice lacing. Citrus hops dominate the aroma as they do the flavor. This mostly just tastes like a good IPA. I think I’d have to have it next to MA’s regular IPA to really note the rye difference, but I think I detected a hint of rye under all that hops and the finish seemed more dry. I knew from experience that MA could brew a good IPA and this variation proves it again.
