cask at Mad Anthony’s on 3/16/13 - Pours hazy red with a half inch tall light tan head of big bubbles - The aroma is pretty mild with some caramel and indistinct hops. Served barely chilled, it tastes of caramel malt and citrus accented hops with moderate to strong bitterness. With light carbonation and a smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel, it goes down easy and finishes on the bitter side. Good brew.

Draft at brewery. Sour blue cheese and resinous herbal hops aroma. Cloudy amber with a moderate off-white head. Funky sour blue cheese like malt and subtle herbal hops flavor. Medium body, flat carbonation. The blue cheese thing was a bit weird, but it still worked. Now, if you hate blue cheese, you’re really going to hat this beer.
