Malt flavours and a pronounced bitterness support big fruity flavours from modern German hops.

Can from Aldi Ellon. It pours clear deep amber with a decent bubbly beige head. The aroma is sweet, sappy, oily, resinous, brown bread, toffee, candied citrus and hit of marmalade. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet, bitter hit lingers throughout, peppery spice, resinous, sappy, pine, pithy, zesty, bitter citrus rin and floral with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works pretty well. Quaffable.

Keg at West brewery. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lemon and grain. Flavour of cereal and a light hoppy finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Quite lager-like. Needs more of a hoppy kick.
