Pine citrus aroma that is reminiscent of whisky casks sleeping in their warehouse. Initial taste is quite a floral experience with the flavour from the wood to follow. The beer has increased in ABV, and dropped in IBU, and the balance achieved results in a clean and crisp beer.

Bottle. Golden color. Whisky aroma, but also blackcurrant, dust and cardboard. Has oxidated too Much. Oxidated flavor with strong whisky notes, but also oak, blackcurrant, raisin, dust, maybe Some Remaining hops. Hops have faded. Just an example of misuse of oak aging.

Bottle 33 cl. Clear dark golden with a lacing white head. Very subtle whisky aroma, but it’s there. Medium body, sweet malts, sharp alcohol note. The Glenfiddich barrels are not exactly overwhelming, they more add a touch rather than dominate the beer. Still interesting though. 260719

Fles 33cl thuis. Whiskytonen, eik, lichte rooksmaak, suikers, ergens hoptonen, wat citrus, pine. Niet helemaal in balans. IPA wat ondergesneeuwd. (10-6-2019).

Light brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour do have a certain funky note not far away from Brett. Some sweeter malt whisky too and a touch of alcohol. A bit thin bodied too.

Keg at Six Degrees North Aberdeen. It pours clear deep amber with an orange hue and small white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, orange marmalade, spicy whisky, toffee, wood, honey, nougat, fruit cake and leather. The taste is dry, bitter, woody, leather, tannin, spice, warming whisky, warming alcohol, black tea and earth with a drying and woody finish. Medium+ body and fine, prickly carbonation. Rather nice aroma to it. Works pretty well.
