Panda at home, thanks to Grumbo - cheers Graham, 30/03/23. Unclear deep mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is vinous, dark fruit esters, toffee, spice, herb, dark malts. Taste comprises earthy fruits, plums, spice, figs, dark malts, toffee, vinous notes, hint of barrel. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, light drying close with a spike of alcohol. Decent enough sipper.

10/3/2023. Bottle shared at our hotel in Worcester. Bought direct from the brewery. Pours a little unclear dark reddish brown with a small bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma is woody, lightly spiced, whiskey, malt, fruit cake, tobacco, stewed fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, slight tart edge. Moderate body, oily and watery, low carbonation. Pretty decent.

Bottle. Medium head with short duration. Slight gusher. Aroma and taste are whisky, wood, fruits, caramel and malt. A bit boozy.

Bottle bought at the brewery tap. Aroma had sweet booze and dark fruit. Underlying coffee. Dark and glossy cola brown. Thick foamy beige head. There's a cutting boozy streak that adds bitterness to what otherwise appears a sweet snd very malty beer. Dark berries, dried fruit and Horlicks. Medium bodied. Oily, if a tad watered down. Long astringent finish. Enjoyable boozy and fruity yet also malty.
