This 33 cl bottle came from Etre Gourmet a few months ago. This afternoon’s tasting will be with my Teku glass. I tilt the bottle into the glass to see a caramel brown body topped by an actively recharged, thin skim of light tan bubbles. The smell is strongly vinous with a bit of dark fruit in the background. The drink now. Dates, cherries, whole grain bread, malt, a reduced wine barrel impact that I think is fortunate, toffee and oak. Really good, surprisingly good. This quad was well worth the effort to get.

Dark brown colour, beige foam, disappears quickly. Nose of wood, red berries, red wine, vanilla. Taste is smooth, light tart, very balanced with vanilla sweetness. Great edition!
