A superbly balanced & complex in flavour, chestnut brown bitter. Malty & fruity with a hint of caramel & toffee.
This smashing Best really is the tops – a smooth, easy drinking brew that’s a perfect relief from a hard day’s toil. Fighting for your rights never tasted so good.

500ml bottle from a friend, drank at home on 10th October 2024. Poured into a glass pint tankard. Huge beige head on a clean and clear mahogany body. Malty front with a decent hop bitterness coming through, really enjoyed it's earthy simplicity.

Bottle from Stewarts Garden Centre Christchurch. Slight gusher. Pours a murky deep chestnut brown colour with a huge thick foamy off-white head. Aromas of sweet dark fruit, jam, caramel, toffee and a little bread. Taste has more caramel, toffee, a little more dark fruit with added roasty notes and nuts. Has a slight earthy bitterness on the finish. Light to medium body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. This is an excellent Best Bitter packed with flavour for such a low abv. Lovely.
