While the name may be slightly intense, you'll soon find that you have a love for this strata based DIPA. Opium is an evenly-balanced double IPA smashing flavours of sweet melon with juicy passionfruit.
As you'd imagine from a beer with an 8% ABV this DIPA gives you a euphoric hop burst thats uplifting yet also very mellow, the perfect combination for an easy drinking DIPA.

Hazy gold with a rich white head. Nice citrus and pith. Pithy and creamy citrus with a light bitterness.

Foamed white head stayed on a hazy pale golden body. Pineapple, mango & stone fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth soft & clean. Stone fruit, mango & bubble gum tastes followed by a bitter pithy grapefruit finish. East Coast/West Coast Excellent.

Can at home, 28th November 2021. Pours a light hazy orange yellow. Aroma pineapple, citrus, a light funk, lime. Taste is citrus, lime, pineapple, sherbert, pith, almost a Belgian yeast to it, it’s light, interesting, never too sweet and differentiated. Outstanding DIPA

440ml can. Murky golden orange, huge white head. Aroma of passionfruit, pineapple, dank. Taste is slightly sweet, juicy tropical fruits, passionfruit, mango, pineapple, dank and weedy, mild citrusy bitterness. Full bodied, thick, creamy smoothness. Superb.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Milky golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of pineapple, pine and mango. Flavour of passionfruit and lime. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A delicious DIPA with an incredible mouthfeel.
