Blend of Barrel-Aged Imperial Stouts Hand-Select by Kyle from Horus Aged Ales
Kyle from @horusagedales recently stopped by for a visit & barrel pick here at Mikerphone. He sampled through 14 different barrels & chose 8 barrels to create two different BA beers. The first was a combination of two Elijah Craig barrels, one Plantation Rum/Chicago Maple barrel, & one Templeton Rye barrel to create πππππ ππππππ π-πππ.
What the brewers say: This 14.22% Imperial Stout aged collectively for 13 months. It's oaky booze wrapped in notes of molasses & coconut, with a dark chocolate finish & subtle hints of welcoming spice as it completes.

Tap MBCC 2022 Red Session. Poured almost black with a round bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, liqourice. The flavour is over moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a rich, smooth, roasty, chocolate, liqourice bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
