Brewed to the original recipe, we used pilsner malt, wheat malt, and flaked oats, with a generous dry hopping of mosaic and sabro. We brewed two batches, one for stainless and one for foeder, then blended these together to give you our House of Funk spin on this New England style pale ale.

Hazy gold with a decent white head. Mango and tangerine. Much like the nose with some orange peel bitterness.

Hazy, medium head. Slight orangey sort of hue. The aroma is quite bright, lots of papaya, pineapple, maybe grapefruit, too. Moderate bitterness, but a touch of acidity. Maybe from the wheat? But it's helping lend some juiciness to the hop notes and vibrancy to the body. Maybe that's the house character getting in there a bit, but whatever it is, it works. Some bitterness in the finish, and it gets a bit woody.
