Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, roast, fruity hops, tropical fruits, chocolate, coffee, citrus and grapefruit with a mild touch of pine. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above medium bitter. Body is medium. Surprisingly good hoppy Stout or Black IPA, good balance between roasty chocolate malts and tropical fruity hops.

Tap at Noord-Hollands bierfestival ’17, Alkmaar: Opaque black colored brew with an dry bitter taste with hints of roasted malts, chocolate and citrus, So this Stout wants to be an Black IPA.

Bottle. Deep dark Brown color. Hops, licorice, citrus, roast And white pepper in the aroma. Malty sweet roasty flavor with licorice, citrus, Peach And white pepper. Tasty beer!

Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, full sized brown colored head. Aroma of malts, some hoppiness, dark malts. Taste malts, dark malts, hops, some caramel, light roast, a distant hint of something fruity, slightly sweetish fruity, but the flavor ends malty bitter. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Quite nice.

33cl Bottle at Kooltuintje. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, light herbal, laurel, drop. Flavour is a bit weak, coffee, mocha, caramel, dropwater, light hoppy. Light bodied. Not great.
