Banished Sun

Galway Bay Brewery in Oranmore, Galway, Ireland 🇮🇪

  Porter - Imperial Regular

ABV: 8.0% IBU: - Ticks: 9
It's a beer which, in the words of head brewer Will Avery "was brewed as the days shortened in the west of Galway and serves as a delicious reminder that good can come from the darkest days and that without the night, there can be no sun". Pouring jet black with a slight tan head, there are bready and raisin aromas, bitter chocolate and espresso notes with a slight hint of smokiness. A fine porter to curl up with.
