This dark lager is an homage to our late great Bloodhound, Jethro. We feel this beer fits him perfect and we miss him dearly. We've combined our favorite chocolate and roasted malts with local pecan smoked malt from Riverbend Malt House and delicious raw honey. Finally aged cold for several weeks before entering this can.

Cola, chocolate malt, ash, and fresh hay aroma. Black with large brown head. Mildly sweet light chocolate malt and mildly bitter ash/dry hay flavor. Okay body. Would have liked more malt flavor.

Refrigerated pint can poured into a glass. Clear dark brown poured into a glass. Aroma is cocoa, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is cocoa and nuts. I would have guessed a Dunkel.
