This Lager is a struttin’ and a cuttin’ some kumquats.
Another installment in the Smokehouse lager series. This one uses an experimental French hop called Barbe Rouge, translating to Red Beard in French. The hop exhibits fruity, strawberry, lime zest and especially kumquat flavor and aroma. Don’t know what a kumquat tastes like? It tastes like this!

Biscuit malt, and weedy grass aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small light tan head. Mildly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter earthy/weedy grass flavor. Good body. Nice body. Solid - an interesting hop strain.
