33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of mid strong dark caramelized malt. Taste of dark caramelized malt, raisins, nuts.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel donker roodbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat caramelachtige geur. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet en wat kruidig in de afdronk.

Bottle at home,from advent calender. Dark brown with nice beige head, looks good. Caramel, soft dried fruits, raisins, banana bread. Not too malty actually, some soft sugary dark malts but not too sweet and cloying, under medium bitter. Medium bodied with crisp feel. Perfexcly drinkeabke beer, not exciting in any way but it's pleasant enough.

Bottle. Brown color. Soft caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor. Hints of cinnamon and pear. Soft roast. Drinkable but a bit boring.

0.33 l bottle from 'De Drankenmarkt', best before July 2019. Clear, dark ruby to brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, raisins, plums, a touch of clove and traces of chocolate. Quite sweet, malty, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of caramel, chocolate, raisins, plums, a touch of clove and hints of overripe banana, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy, minimally roasty and a bit metallic finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Dubbel, a bit one-dimensional but quite pleasant.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Woudenberg, Wageningen as Zeven Zonden Dubbel. Brown with a beige head. Dark malts, some licorice and leather. Taste is sweet with some earthen notes. Due to the age of the bottle, BBD of end 2017, some portification has occured but this always works very well with a dark Belgian ale so I don't mind that at all. Great dubbel.

Bottle @ tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Hazy reddish color, red-brown color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, somewhat sweet, some brown sugar. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Amber coloured. Smells koolzuur. Tastes cookie dough, yeasty, sweet. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.
