Harking back to the pop factory roots of our Magic Rock Headquarters on Willow Lane, Huddersfield, which was also the home to Ben Shaws Pop Factory.
This juice laden, slightly tart and soft citrus IPA evokes memories of days gone by; the sun shining and an ice-cold cloudy lemonade in hand; Filled with lemon and zest on the nose with a soft pithiness on the tongue, this IPA is a blast from the past.

Slightly hazy dark yellow pour with a small white head; aromas of lemons (no surprise there), grapefruit and other citrus fruit; taste is pretty much the same with some white bread and a nice bitter finish. Like a powerful, less sweet shandy -enjoyed it.

Can from Waitrose. Lumpy pour, clear yellow gold with a thin white head, aforementioned lumps (of yeast?) notwithstanding. Aromas are overwhelmingly lemony. As is the taste. A one note brew, held long. Not exactly subtle, but it's no Evil Twin marshmallow mess at least.

Can from Waitrose, King's Cross Station. Golden with a thin head, but not really cloudy as the name might suggest it is. Its lemon is dominant in taste, despite being light and soft within the brew. There's a bit of hoppiness elsewhere.

150ml draught at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Crocheted lacing on the glassware, low, but stable, white head, hazy orange coloured body. Quite inviting smell of lemon and lemony hops. Taste of lemon and lemon peels followed by a decent bitter close, semi-dry. Pretty alright, rather unvaried though. (Tromsø 25.05.2022).
