Pours dark brown with a light tan, creamy head that lingers. Aroma full of vanilla, spice and tonka bean. A hint of Christmas hangs about it. Taste is sweet with a bit of spice and a light nuttiness. A nice dessert beer. Medium body, smooth, feels much more like a stout than a bock. A good one.

0.33l bottle from bierlinie in berlin. bb 16.07.2016. pours a cloudy chestnut with a nice dense steady creamy head with good retention and lacing. aroma of roast, dark chocolate, spruce, dark fruits. flavour of chocolate, bread, nuts, raisins, herbs. somewhat astringent mouthfeel. not sure how the tonka beans are supposed to taste though -- vanilla?
