This barrel aged version of our Black is Beautiful was blended from 2 Four Roses barrels and a single Rock Filter barrel after 18 months of conditioning. Packed with house roasted peanuts, toasted coconut and PNG vanilla beans. Imagine a melted ice cream snickers bar in your glass.

Black with a light brown head - Dark malt aroma with barrel, peanuts and vanilla - Dark malt body with good barrel flavours with some spicy nutty vanilla flavours as well - The good flavours goes into a long finish - This was real good

Bottle Shared@Peders, Copenhagen (Malmö crew visit 12/11/2022) - black with a thin tan head. Intense deep with loads of chocolate, caramel and toffee sweetness, nutty accents throughout, vanilla wrapped through, full bodied, dark sweet nutty accented malty finish. Gorgeous.

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 13/05/2022 [#4.969 Global - #693 United States of America - #10 Forager Brewing Company] Viscous black, almost no head. Aroma: dark chocolate, biurnt caramel. Taste: joyeaux almonds with a trace of bourbon barrels and vanilla. Next one please!

[ As Forager Barrel Aged Black Is Beautiful ].
Clear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, barrel - vanilla, barrel - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, barrel - vanilla, barrel - bourbon, dark malt, coffee - chocolate, light peanut - coconut. Body is medium t full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20220511]
