Bottle at home. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Shy metallical notes. Background spicy-malty. Finish again mild, almost a bit washy. But quite drinkable. Okay.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Slightly cloudy mid golden with a more than one finger white head in the glass. Smooth caramel on the nose. Taste starts pale grainy and some increasing hop bitterness, caramel in the second row. Nice stuff for an Helles.

(bottle, as Willinger Hell, 5.2% abv) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a blond and firm medium-sized foamy head. Slightly grainy and delicately biscuity malty aroma with a tinge of butter and flowery hops. Slightly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly buttery malt character with hints of grains and floral hops in the back; mildly sweet-bitter finish with a discreetly floral hoppy touch. Clean but also a bit boring Lager. 24.II.17

Bouteille( as Willinger Hell): Golden, almost clear, small but stable white head; moderate sweetish-bitter grainy-dusty nose with some pale-malty spots, some grassy-herbal hops in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour , light to medium bodied with a slight tartness; drier grassy-bitter finish. Not too bad, but unfortunately a typical Sauerland-Pils...

0.5 l bottle from ’Biermuda’ as ’Willinger Hell’, best before June 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite grassy, slightly floral and a bit fruity aroma of fresh grass, some grains and hints of citrus. Slightly bitter, rather grassy-spicy, slightly floral and a bit fruity taste of fresh grass, some citrus and a touch of grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad!

Bottle from Rewe in Willingen. Malty fresh beginning. Hints of grain, hints of sweetness with a nice but slightly grainy bitter finish. Very dry and highly drinkable, grainy, refreshing and crisp. Nice maltier but dry Pils.
