Bottle leftover, thanks Cor! Pours black, glossy. Smells rich, sweet, barrels, malts, boozy. Thick body, quite warmingly boozy, sticky. Taste is pretty intense, loads of flavours coming through. Fairly bitter covers the sweet. Licorice, roast, coffee. Yum

Tap. Brown color with hardly any head. Aroma is a bit too much of everything, maple, caramel, sweet as hell. Taste is sweet and boozy, but somehow not a mess. Thick oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. A slow sipper.

Sampled from the tap at First Draft MN. Pours a cloudy deep yellow brown with a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a light rye spiciness with sweet grains, light caramel and a bit of boozy barrel underlying. Flavor has strong sweet grains and caramel with growing brandy and a hint of rye spiciness in the finish.
