We triple brewed this big boy stout with The Emperor himself. During fermentation we added date sugar & then conditioned on maple & pecan flavour. It's thick, smooth & a real treat for all the imperial stout fans out there.

Bottle thanks ChrisO. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is very biscuity, savoury, salty, pecan, rich roasted malt, maple glazed donut, digestive biscuits, earthy, roasted malt and umami. The taste is slick, rich roasted malt, earthy roast, umami, date scone, toothy, chewy, vanilla fudge, cake frosting, loads of biscuit, digestives, sticky, slap of booze, pecan pie and spice with a smooth, slick finish. Fulsome body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Novel. Loads of savoury biscuit vibes. Not much to it though.

Tap at Vinny and Ted, Chalfont St Peter. Poured almost black with a huge frothy tan head that quickly disappeared. The aroma is big hazelnut, praline, roasty malt. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a rich, oily, roasty, maple syrup, chocolate, coffee, nutty, aromatic warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 29/05/22. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to form a swirl. Nose is nutty, chocolate praline, spice, roast malts, dried fruit rinds, light maple syrup. Taste comprises roasted tones, maple syrup, brown sugar melt, toffee fudge, spice, charr, chocolate, candied pecan nuts. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Fun impy affair.
