In 2017 is het 100 jaar geleden dat de kunstbeweging De Stijl werd opgericht. Oud-Winterswijker Piet Mondriaan was een van de oprichter. Als eerbetoon aan deze groot kunstenaar heeft Bierbrouwerij Wentersch een bijzonder bier gebrouwen. De Piet is een Duitse Weizen met een hoppige twist. Je proeft de volle zachte fruitige smaak van een Weizen. Behalve de zoete fruitsmaak heeft dit bier een frisheid, die het dankt aan de tarwemout. De brouwer heeft een extra hoeveelheid hop toegevoegd, waardoor Piet net zoveel pit en karakter heeft als de wereldberoemde werken van deze kunstenaar.

Fles uit de lokale supermarkt Winterswijk. Oranjegeel bier met weing schuim. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met iets van banaan, wat sinaasappel en aardbei. Niet onaardig.

Bottle, hazy orange beer, small head. Aroma is wheat, fruit, malt. Taste is the same, taste is the same, sweet, light tart. Ok

Fles 33cl thuis gedeeld. 5,5%. Yeasty, maltig, kruidig, zoetje, peer, orange peel, wat koriander, ergens wat banaan. (5-12-2020).

Bottle, thanks to Sandra for bringing it to me from Winterswijk. Golden color. Malt, yeast and caramel in the aroma and flavor. Hints of orange and pear. Fairly low on carbon. Decent.

Bottled. Gift h&m. Hazy yellow. Foamy. Wheat, banana, fairly sweet. Inoffensive, middle of the road.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Taste: Malt, grain and yeast. Very lightly hints of caramel. Little and a bit stale hopbitterness. Very easy drinkable for the mass, no pronounced flavors and tending to an ordinary lager with only some extra yeast.

Bottle [from trade with RW80] @ home shared with Joes. Clear golden orange color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, light straw, some unripe fruits, a bit musty, somewhat dusty old hop bitter or something, can’t quite put my finger on it. Weird, not really bad, but I don’t want to finish my glass either. Meh.
