Murky deep amber colour, small frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, dark fruits, raisins, molasse, wood, cognac. Flavour light heavy sweet, slightly bitter, malty, toffee, dark fruits, raisins, woody, cognac. Sweetbitter aftertaste, burnt caramel, molasse, alcohol, woody and spicy notes. Full-bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, rich and round barley wine, very nice... but take your time to let it unfold itself.
