Third Culture Kids know what it's like to walk in one world while being rooted in another. It's an experience shared by the co-founders of Reuben's Brews and Thunder Island. To celebrate their Korean heritage as well as Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we have collaborated on a beer that bridges the gap between two styles. Big tropical fruit notes meet dank citrus in a dry, light-bodied Cold IPA benefiting Families of Color Seattle, a non-profit committed to racial and economic justice.

Draft pour enjoyed at Reuben's. Rating from backlog. Tons of froth foam head and lacing. Creamy body, so already unique as far as style goes. Earthy, grassy hop and malt balance. Smooth taste, with very little of the expected bitterness or bite. I've decided its impossible to make an original standout cold IPA, but this one gets as close as I've seen. Good brew.
