Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham i WCveien. Gylden. Nesten klar. Filmskum med litt farge. Vinøs aroma. Smaken overmodne druer. Søt drueaktig avslutning. Litt tørr.

Can. Unclear golden body under a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has malt, toffee, very distinct wood and some vinous alcohol. Taste has a wooden dry impression with distinct wood, malt, slightly fruity, slightly acidic, some cellar notes and some kind of wine flavor that gets more obvious after a while and even if it’s not clearly defined by me as white or red wine (says white on the can) it’s a distinct grape flavor. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Quite nice with a lot of interesting flavors to be found and even if the high alcohol is well integrated the total impression feels a bit to unbalanced for any higher score by me. A bit too much wood flavor to match the beer itself. Still a nice one.

Can at home. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a small off-white that fades fast. Aroma of apricots, pale malt, phenols, orange peel, grains, wet hay, and white wine. Some alcohol in the background. Flavour of phenols, wine grapes, wet hay, bread, apricots and some warming alcohol in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Malty with a nice touch of the white wine.
