Tap at Winterbierfestival 2015, Gouda: Opaque black colored brew with an fine sweet bitter taste with an little burn. Hints of chocolate, roasted malts and dried fruit. Was not in the booklet, so an surprise for the beer tasters.

Tap at Rad van Wageningrn. Color: Black, thin beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, mocha, coffee. Some fruity blackberry. Taste: Over moderate sweet. Moderate to over moderate bitter. Hints of vanille. Over medium to full body. Below average carbonation. Very nice no nonsense Imperial Stout.

Tap. Black. Coffee, malt and laurel in the aroma. Malty roasty flavor, sweetish with laurel and licorice Alcoholic. Full bodied. The balance could be a bit better.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks David K. for this bottle! Black, tan foam. Roast, coffee, chocolate, a bit of alcohol, soy sauce, sweet, caramel, umami, some dark fruits, quite full-bodied, rounded.

Fles 75cl van @MaartenRf10, thanks.. Schenkt donkerbruin met kaki kraag, vervlakt tot minimale bedekking vooral langs de rand van het glas. Aroma is prima; volmoutig (gebrande- en geroosterde mouten), zoethout, donkere chocolade, zoet, laurier. Ik heb nu al zin in de eerste slok. Hij is eigenlijk nog iets te koud, maar daar gaan we: zacht, romig, lekkere geroosterde mout en donkere chocolade bitterheid met daarachter de alcohol, matig zoet, gerst karakter zit er ook in iets pittig en scherps dus, haverzachtheid, laurier, poederachtig droog, prima oatmeal stout met uniek karakter. Redelijke body, lage co2.
