Ambarina, turbia. Espuma ocre de consistencia y duración medias. Intenso aroma malteado, caramelo, bollería y claras notas ahumadas. En boca es ligera y oleosa. Poco cuerpo, escaso amargor. Sabor malteado, notas de miel y ahumadas. Se bebe fácil.

Schwiegervaters Stolz dürfte auch vielen Rauchbiermuffeln gefallen. Gemischtporige, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone, in der Nase karamellig, leicht malzig, sehr dezenter Schinkenrauch, keinerlei schwere Aromen; im Mund mit relativ schlankem Körper, malzig, karamellig, leichte Süße, wunderbar eingebundene Rauchnoten.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Woody and smokey aroma with caramel malt, smoked beechwood, some ash. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitterness. Medium body. Nicely woody and smoked, good Rauch.

A: clear brown, small, foamy, tan head.
A: wet tobacco, ash, chestnut, brown bread.
T: sweetish fig, apple, bitter herbs, tobacco, toast.
F: herbal hops, bitter tobacco, smoke, dried fruits.
P: light body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Not as intense as the Schlenkerlas of this world, but very drinkable.

Amber colour with lasting head and some yeasty residue from the bottle. Smoked malts are there. Slightly woody and meaty. Body is a bit thin.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with a lacing, beige head. Bamberg style smoke paired with quite some butter. Medium body, dry caramel and biscuit notes and subtle smoke. Luckily the diacetyl is way less present in the flavor. Decent hoppy finish. 070824

Optisch dunkelbraun im Glas, kein Schaum. In der Nase schönes dezentes Raucharoma, im Trunk ebenso zurückhaltend, sehr leise abgeraucht, Einsteiger-Rauchbier, süffig, passt.
