Karamelbruin bier dat zijn donkere kleur dankt aan het gebruik van geroosterde moutsoorten. Met een smaaktoon van zoethout is dit bier uniek, eigenaardig en zeer de moeite waard om te drinken.

Bottle. BBF 08-2019. Overcarbonation, beer sprays out of bottle on opening. I was warned of this possibility by the seller, so probably a bad batch. What was left was a yeasty, very hazy brown mesh. Malty, brown sugar, notes of caramel and spices. Bad. It's a pity, I would have liked to try a well-brewed beer from this brewery but do not know if I'm going to take this guess again...

Bottle [from trade with RW80] @ home. Hazy nice dark red color, full sized beige head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, caramel, sweet, brown sugar lightly. Decent to medium body, a bit fizzy carbonation. Oh well, not bad.

6e Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival, Hoogeveen. 20-12-2015 van fles caramelbruin met minimale kraag. aroma van caramel, donker fruit, rozijn, zoethout, smaken zijn wat zuur, donker fruit, rozijn, pruim, caramel, iets honing,licht bitter, zwak zoet, lange afdronk, iets pittig en zoethout, overall niet bijzonder --- Beer merged from original tick of Veteraan Dubbel on 17 May 2018 at 16:44 - Score: 5
