Blend of 1 & 2 year old lambic aged on Bordeaux barrels with Noord- and Kelleris-krieken. After this the cherry lambic was blended with Merlot lambic and lambic aged with kalisse wood (licorice).

Bottle. Deep ruby-purple color with pink head. Aroma is nice cherries, grapeskin, tobacco, barn. Taste is the same, not too soury good earthiness and vineousness. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Very good!

MBCC. Hazy deep red with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, cherries, wood and barnyard. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic finish. 130522

A very tasty kriek as well, but it does seem a bit more tame and less mature than the B225. The grape and weird wood do shine through nicely, and all the flavours are there.. just a bit odd for me, I'd prefer a cleaner kriek.
