Feathergreen is fermented with a thiolized yeast strain and dry-hopped with Simcoe and Citra Cryo. It finishes slightly sweeter than some of our other IPAs and is really pleasant and round. A soft mouthfeel combines with notes of pine resin, grapefruit, and orange zest. 6% ABV.

A fun naming anecdote: Recently our good friends at @fourwindsbrewco made a beer called Extralux. Being the nice people they are, they checked in with us to make sure we didn’t mind. “Heck no we don’t mind”, we said.……..Butttttt …….. then we said….. there’s just one little thing….. we really want to use the word “Feather” and we always worried it was a bit close to “Featherweight”, their delicious session IPA. Anyway, tradesies were made. Compromises were reached.

On tap at brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma has stonefruit, a touch of citrus, and strained malts. Flavour has juicy citrus and passionfruit, chalk, a bit of hop burn, and some oiliness that's out of place. Hop expression is thin and mouthfeel is gritty.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a small, creamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, mango, peach, cantaloupe, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit pith, cantaloupe, mango, passion fruit, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily, almost creamy texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and enjoyable.

Okay hazy deep yellow body and some modest foam. Smells of good candied grass, slight weed, lemon zest. Taste is sweet papaya and chalky melon. Ends with lingering tanginess but a little wet. Another decent hazy from these guys.

Opaque. Not much head. Light pine character, soft malt. Mellow cannabis in there as well. Decent, fairly low bitterness, easy going brew.

Draught at the brewery
Murky blond colour. Fruity aroma, tropical fruit, papaya, stone fruit. Soft mouthfeel, a bit muddy, but at least this one is not astringent; very mild residual sweetness, helping a bit the hop to show some juiciness, would need more sugars to really shine; tropical accents; moderate bitterness, but there is a pleasant peely bitterness. Good.
