As May weather hits and days get longer, the desire builds to get outside and adventure. We wanted to make a beer that supported that drive and fulfilled all your outdoor needs, whether it’s backwoods or back patio.
The goal was to refresh! Brewed with Pilsner malt, spelt malt, and oat flakes to give it a crisp, gentle mouthfeel. Hopped with Mosaic and Motueka for background notes of lemon-lime candy and stonefruit. We then conditioned on Pineapple, orange and tangerine purees for that satisfying fruit juice finish. You know the commercial. Orange “drink” is the superior thirst quencher. We finally added a touch of salt to make sure you get those electrolytes back.
Big aromas of Orange and Pineapple (duh!) with a gentle spiciness from the Belgian yeast balance the front and back ends. Escapade drinks bright and effervescent with a lingering minerality for a delicious getaway.

Bottle sample at Farmhouse Fest 2022, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry, with straw, hay, and some wild yeast. Flavour is full of straw, hazy, and some wild yeast. Oaky, wild, and gently tart. Very good.

Hazy yellow body with minimal foam. Aroma is plenty of earthy banana, not picking up pineapple or orange. Taste is tangy banana, vague pineapple maybe, not convinced about either. Okay carbonation but seems too thin. A mix of good ideas that needs a little more love.

Pale and hazy. Medium head. Yeasty saison, that sweaty taste. Trying to cover that up with fruit but not nearly enough. Ok, this doesn’t flow for me at all.
